The half marathon was great, esp given that it was completed just as a workout. I ran the first 8 miles controlled and then raced the last 5. Which was tough since the Harlem Hills were in the second mile of my “race”. whew mama!
All in all, I placed; I ran a PR half for Central Park; I scored for NYAC in a club points race; and I may have won a little money. That makes me the big breadwinner for the month. sweet
